Weekend!

Evening all, there was an incident today that struck me as to how stupid people can be.
I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, apologizing before others can find fault in things I do or say in order to keep a smooth relationship going.

Today I was unable to prevent that situation from happening. Here's the situation, we live across the street from a house with 3 trucks and beside that house is another house that has no vehicles. We've always parked in front of the house that has no vehicles out of courtesy. We have never had complaints from anyone of our neighbors about our choice of parking. Today the neighbors across the street had a spot open in front of their truck but we had parked behind it which ended up being in front of the house with no vehicles anyways. When Adam and Sue came home to a black truck parked in both our and their spot in front of our duplex, Sue and I went to the neighbors across the street to ask them to move their vehicle. The lady we talked to was cordial and easy to talk to, agreed to switch parking spots with Joel's car and their truck. Granted Joel's car wasn't even IN anyone's way, there was PLENTY of room in front of their second vehicle for their truck to park. When a different lady came out to move her car, I was about to apologize for the misunderstanding, but her first response was "You guys always park in front of our house." I was taken a back. I responded with "Excuse me?!" "You guys always park in front of our house." I was appalled not ONCE have I ever taken their spot. I was quite unhappy about that accusation so I proceeded to explain why my vehicle wasn't in it's normal parking spot. There was road construction and that's why we parked across the street. She proceeded to just accuse us of always parking in their spots, which is completely bogus seeing as we're obviously not parked there now nor have we ever! When I tried to explain once more she just got into her vehicle and left. NOT only did she leave mid argument, after STARTING the argument, she even parked in the open space in front of her other vehicle. WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF MAKING JOEL MOVE HIS CAR. It was never in anyone's way! I was furious. Not only did she want to start a fight, but she didn't have the guts to finish it! So stupid!

*sigh* It bothers me that neighbors aren't actually willing to give others the benefit of the doubt, they will always resort to being confrontational with no solid proof for any accusations. It's painful to watch others do / say stupid things in effort to "be right" for the sake of "being right".....very frustrating.

Moving on...

On Friday, I was getting ready to go coach Joel's school badminton team. I was showering at around 2pm. Near the end of my shower....the lights go out!!!! I'm stuck showering in the DARK! When I pulled back the curtain to grab the towel...the door was illuminated by the afternoon sun! IT'S LIKE OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE! LOL! So scary!!!

Anyways, work's going to be GREAT! I'll be working on my own again from Tuesday until Thursday. Friday I get off, and Joel and I'll probably be visiting Wetaskiwin for that weekend. I also get Monday off next week, so that will be nice. :)

Oh oh oh!!! MY FAMILY'S IN TOWN! :) They arrived Friday night. My sister, Mom and Dad AND MY DOGS came to Calgary! :) Yay! It's kind of nice to have a full house of people now. Sometimes it gets too quiet with just Joel and me alone at home. My family's staying probably until Tuesday night, I hope it's not going to be much of a distraction. I hope to only work till about 5pm maybe 6pm if it's necessary. I would really like to get off earlier, but work may not allow for it. :( I really really missed my family and my dogs. I didn't realize it until I see them again lol! It seems to always happen that way. I'll really only miss my friends and family when I see them in person again lol! Strange I guess? :)

On Saturday we held a presentation for my coworkers about my financial services business and was able to obtain some great feedback from those who did come. Sadly I invited 11 people and only 3 showed. Granted those are the numbers, but it is kind of disheartening! It still felt productive, that and it was my first time presenting! WOOHOO! lol!

Anyways bed time! Cheerio lovelies!

Life? You mean work...

Teehee! (youtube the asian guy who mocks the SHAMWOOHOO)

I ACHE! lmao! It's terrible. I realize now why I should have kept up P90.

Yes folks, I've been bad. All work and no work out. Not even play! *gasp* Shocking! I can hardly open my eyes properly in the morning. I find waking up at 5 then snoozing to 5:30 doesn't work. I'm half awake waiting for the alarm to come back on. *double sigh* I remember why I disliked a job. Businesses were so much awesomer! lmao! I have yet to find a "good job". Not ONE job out there ... is good for anyone. Benefits are just a "sucker puller inner" lol! Not to say it's not a good thing. But there's so much more that's better in a business than "benefits" in a job. (Boy oh boy my english grammar's shot!)

GOOD NEWS! I made a friend. LOL! It's always a great feeling connecting with someone yes? =) I'm happy to say, I've begun to diversify my friends' circle. Dears and buddies, you all realize I'm 25 and my friends are around my age group and in the city yes? Well....this new friend I've managed to make is ....in ... Regina. LMAO! Oh and did I mention he's 47? LMAO! Oh gawd, it makes me lawl just thinking about it. PFT lmao lawl! So his name's Adam Exner, super awesome dood! He types me emails that are 3-4 solid paragraphs! He's a super friendly dood who actually uses internet lingo! He typed out ":)" to me in one of our first emails to each other. Then! He types out 'lol!' HAHAHA! Oh wow just wow. This is what threw me off when I was guessing his age. I guessed him to be late 20's and mid 30's. He laughed pretty hard at that. In any case, it's amazing how fun people in this office are.

I really need to get rid of the middle man (Personnel Department). It's a pain in the ass. They demand I work certain jobs, but when I started with them I had the understanding that I could choose jobs I wanted / preferred. Anyways, it's a pain because I'm guilt tripped every time I say NO to a job. *sigh* I dislike justifying myself to someone who's only supposed to help me find jobs, not expect me to do jobs they pick out. Grrrr.....must come up with a better solution. I may just hand in my 2 weeks notice and try to hook up with Evraz for a part time consultant contract. *sigh* I HATE JOBS! They're SO goddamn restricting! I'm not given the options to do more than one job. *frustrated sigh* I swear, I planned on coming home and crying REALLY hard and getting rid of all my anger stress and frustration in one go. I'm more pissed at the bullying I'm subject to. I'm not sad, just REALLY mad. I hate loss of control, especially over something like MY LIFE.

Sigh....moving on.

Back to the thought about working out. I want to work out but my brain eyes arms feet all get sore just from working 11 hr shifts. I'm supposed to be a temp worker and yet lookit! I'M WORKING 11 HRS. This is insane. I'm only complaining because I can't do much else after work. I lose so much time because I'm so worn out. I want to have a LIFE! I feel the data entry job is killer only due to the work load when my supervisor's gone LOL! I die I die I die!! (quoted from Midsummer's Night Dream)

Enough complaining....SHIPPING DATA ENTRY'S GREAT! People are great, they all remind me of the best aunt and uncle you could dream of. Super helpful fun and great people all in all. I don't think it's the job that makes them nice tho LOL! (Oh really?!) It's just the environment they've created...I ADOOORE!

They keep feeding me. I don't get it. They always take me out for lunch. I'M JUST A TEMP WORKER! It's weird! Not to complain much, it's just ... weird. I can only find 2 explanations. 1) They REALLY like me. 2) It's normal there. LMAO! Yeah tomorrow I'm supposed to go for lunch with Payroll guy lol! YAY EXPENSE ACCOUNT lol! I think? Ahahah we'll see. =)

I should make my 2-bite-brownie-wannabe cookies this weekend for everyone. As a sort of "thank you" and "sorry" for all the trouble I've caused. Working there for the past month and I'm stuck doing the entire job of course I'll make mistakes. It's rather intense ... to say the least.

THE BEST PART! ..... I'm getting referrals for my business! *FIST PUMP* So awesome! I can't believe my luck! Most people would be super skeptical and just say "no". But this office is all "Sure! I'll come check it out!" It's rather awesome! People are so nice to help me out! More reason I should make my cookies for them lol!

Ugh....obviously I should blog more. I feel I'm spilling on this post since I haven't blogged in a month lol! =(

Time to watch some cheesy korean dramas and vegetate!
Cheerio darlings!
